This painting captures a warm summer’s day when three teenagers were paddling in the River Severn in Newtown. They were laughing and shrieking as they braved the deeper water, in a moment of sheer enjoyment. The river itself was in shade but glimpses of sunlight were playing through the trees.
The painting is oil on canvas measuring approximately 20″ by 24″. It is currently unframed, but is painted around the edge of the canvas, so could be hung unframed.
