This original painting is based on a photograph I took at Nant-y-Moch reservoir in Ceredigion.
Three sheep stood on the brow of an outcrop with the late afternoon sun lighting them from behind. They looked as if their fleeces were on fire at the edges. Far below them lay the river valley, deep in shadow. It was a dramatic and amazing picture.
The painting measures 80cm square. The picture extends around the edges of the canvas so the picture can be hung unframed. It is painted using acrylic paint on narrow framed, stretched canvas.
