Tutoring with Myrick Training

I must say that I do like Maths! It is very tidy and relevant to everyday life. I really enjoy seeing the light bulb moments when somebody who hasn’t understood something before suddenly “gets it”.

In autumn 2023, I was working for Myrick Training doing tutoring for teaching assistants to help them gain confidence in Maths. The sessions covered Data Handling; Area, volume, angle and position; Fractions, decimals and percentages; Algebra

These were some of the comments:

In 2025, I have been doing 1:1 tutoring with apprentices in Wales who need to pass Level 2 qualifications in English (Communication), Maths (Application of Number) and I.T. (Digital Literacy), also working with Myrick Training.
